A new initiative for 2010,

TRAD IN THE PARK

had a very successful start in March with a group of young musicians gathering at Highland Adventure, Glenisla, for a weekend of team-building and traditional music activities. The event culminated with a Cèilidh in the Village Hall.

A second Trad in the Park is planned for the weekend of 26 - 28th November, based at Abernethy Outdoor Centre, Nethybridge.

Tutors will again be James Ross and Sharon Hasson.

Trad in the Park is open to young musicians - including singers - of intermediate and advanced ability, in S3 and above. The emphasis of the weekend is on group playing.
