Booking forms and further details are available NOW to download here.The 20th annual Fèis Spè week of traditional music tuition will take place from 18th to 22nd October 2010.Three different fèis activities run concurrently, making the most of the talents of some of the country's top traditional musicians.
Activities run from 10.30am to 4pm daily, with a dedicated bus service running through the Strath for participants.
Fèis Bheag is open to children in P1 - 4 and offers a wide variety of activities, including song, dance, art and sports on a daily basis.Pupils in P5 and above choose 2 subjects to study in more depth during the week, interspersing these classes with sports, drama, art and dancing sessions through the Main Fèis programme. There will be a 'come and try it' afternoon to give them a chance to try out a new subject. These participants also attend on a daily basis.The Senior Fèis allows a residential option for secondary pupils, with an additional evening programme of activities, including master-class and group playing, sports and a talent show to supplement the daytime music classes.
Fèis Spè 2010 will be based in Grantown Primary School.The popular and inspiring Tutors' Cèilidh takes places in Boat of Garten Community Hall on Tuesday 19th October and is open to all, starting at the family friendly time of 6.30pm.Fèis Spè 2010 will finish with the 'final fling' - a concert showcasing the achievements of the young people during the week.In a change from previous years, this will begin at 3pm on Friday 22nd October.

Places, which are allocated on a 'first come. first served' basis are expected to fill very quickly this year. There will be booking deadline of 17th September - forms received after this date will not be accepted.
